Glamping in Texas: Choosing Your Campsite

Splashway Campground offers 4 different lodging options, all with comfortable amenities you’ll need for a stress-free weekend with a focus on fun: AC/heat to set your preferred temperature, satellite TV so Dad doesn’t miss the big game, a fire pit for s’mores, picnic table for treats, coffee pot for a pick me up, and private bathrooms. So that covers the essentials, but what makes these lodging types different?

Cabins

Our Cabins are the most popular campsite due to its spacious layout! The real winner here is the sleeping options: a private queen bedroom downstairs and a lofted space with 4 beds upstairs (perfect for the kiddos!). Cabins also include a living room with comfy couch, an indoor dining table with chairs, and a full kitchen equipped with oven, stove top, microwave, and full sized fridge. Plus, the screened in porch with table and chair seating is the perfect place to wind down after a day of fun.

Bungalows

Meet our newest lodging option – a crossover between spacious cabins and cozy cottages, bungalows are the perfect in-between for families that don’t mind sharing their space. Bungalow sleep spaces include one queen over twin bunk bed, a lofted space with a queen bed, and one twin sized loft bed – all in one shared space. The kitchen has all the essentials including a microwave, mini fridge, glass 2 burner cooktop, and necessary cookware. Complete with an adorable porch and bench to enjoy the weather!

Cottages

Our coziest and most budget-friendly glamping option, perfect for smaller families or couples needing a romantic getaway. Cottages come with one twin bunk bed, one twin over full bunk, and one twin bed in a low clearance loft – all in one shared space. Minimal kitchen amenities include a mini fridge and microwave. All Cottages have a covered porch with bench.

Bunkhouses

Our largest lodging option is perfect for large groups, multi-family trips, youth group overnights, scout trips, birthday parties, reunions – the more the merrier! Bunkhouses accommodate up to 20 guests comfortably with 2 queen private rooms and one large bunk room with 6 sets of bunks, plus 3 full bathrooms! Bunkhouses come with a fully furnished kitchen to feed your hungry hoard: oven and stove, toaster, microwave, and full sized fridge. There’s also more room to spread out with a separate large living room area and separate dining room, plus a large porch so the whole gang can hang outside.
