While there are many things we love about living in Texas, a traditional “fall season” doesn’t usually make the list. In fact, a magical fall-inspired weekend in Texas seems almost unimaginable. Well, not for us! At the Splashway Campground, we’re hosting Fall Festival Weekends September 17th – October 10th to celebrate the cozy season with all your autumn favorites. While there probably won’t be a chill in the air, there will definitely be magic everywhere! Read on for all the reasons you don’t want to miss our Fall Festival Weekends this year!

#1 Plenty o’ Pumpkins for Decorating 

The most important part of a Fall Festival? PUMPKINS! And we’ve got plenty to pick from! Take a stroll through Ray’s Magical Pumpkin patch, the perfect picturesque place to snap those fall-themed family photos. Plant your magical pumpkin seed and in just a few hours, you’ll have a brand new pumpkin to carve! It will make for the perfect decoration to use during our Fall-themed campsite decorating contest! Decorate your RV site, cabin, or cottage for a chance to win a Splashway gift card!

Don’t worry! If you forget to bring decor of your own, we’ll also have fall-themed arts and crafts for the kiddos to make sure your campsite is fall-tastic!

#2 Good Eats

If decorating isn’t your family’s thing, you have two chances to show off your skills during our fall-themed bake-off! Cook up a heartwarming treat for a chance to win prizes! This event isn’t just for adults either. We encourage families to cook their recipes together as a team. The more fun, the better the food. Just save room for the s’more station later!

#3 Lots of Treats, Less Tricks

Trick-or-Treating will be all about the treats this year at our campsite Trick-or-Treat event, a super-safe event with minimal spooks. For young kids and the young at heart, this small-scale trick-or-treat event is great to let bigger kids explore on their own, or for smaller kids to get the hang of it. And after loading up on candy, kids can strut their stuff in our costume contest.

#4 Spooky with a Splash of Summer
