Is the fireworks show open to everyone?
Yes, all are welcome to attend our fireworks show, free of charge! Fireworks will start after dark, around 9:30pm.
Can I bring my own fireworks or sparklers?
We do want to discourage families from bringing their own fireworks. We’ll be shooting off fireworks on New Year’s Eve, so don’t worry about packing your own. However, if you’re a family of sparkler-lovers, please feel free to pack your own!
How should I prepare for the weather?
It is December, so the weather will be chilly! Make sure to pack warm clothing and extra blankets to bring outside for the celebration. Stay up to date on the weather forecast for New Year’s Eve at Splashway here.
What happens if it rains?
This would put a damper on our fireworks but, even if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we will do our best to still make the night memorable for everyone! How far in advance should I make my reservation?
The earlier, the better! If you like to pick your exact campsite location, book in advance to guarantee your family’s favorite spot.
Are grills or fire pits for campfires available?
Absolutely! Every campsite has a fire pit and firewood and materials can be purchased in the Camp Store. *Please note that campfires will be prohibited when the area is under a burn ban. Please check with Guest Services upon check-in for the current status.
Is there a minimum on the number of nights I can book for this event?
We require a 2-night stay on weekends but if you’d like to book a 1-night stay for the week, please give our guest service department a call at 979-234-7718 for assistance.
Are pets allowed?
Of course! If you’re booking a cabin or cottage, please book pet-friendly lodging with cabins 10-13 or cottages 103-104.
Are all campground attractions included with my reservation?
Yes, with the exception of our paid attractions like putt putt, laser tag, pedal carts, and water sport rentals.
Do you have golf carts available for rent?
Yes we do! Visit the Camp Store or Adventure Station upon arrival to rent your golf cart.
Will The Hideaway be open for lunch or dinner?
The Hideaway will be open Friday-Sunday for lunch from 11am-2pm and dinner from 5pm-9pm. There will also be live music Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights!
