Splashway Campground is open for business! As a Campground guest, you will have access to all of our regular amenities and be guaranteed waterpark entry during your stay. Your family’s safety remains a top priority, and measures of remaining extremely clean have increased. We have a strict routine in place for disinfecting all of our community areas including lodging facilities, restrooms, playgrounds, activity areas, and our Camp Store. We’ve taken the following additional efforts in the campgrounds:

• Installed hand sanitizers and signage at entry locations to community areas.
• Installed mobile hand washing stations at each playground and the pond area.
• Added signage to restrooms encouraging guests to properly wash hands.
• Increased frequency of sanitizing common areas and touchpoints including doorknobs, faucets, counters, etc.
• Increased frequency of restocking restrooms with hand soap and paper towels.
• Increased number of cleaning staff.
• Provided all team members with equipment and sanitizing agents to do their job safely.
• Directed the Splashway team to stay home if showing signs of illness, including cold.

Splashway Campground is following the above measures to reintroduce limited activities for families in the campground. All of our amenities, like kayaking, fishing, pedal carts, and others will be available during your stay. We also have activity booklets available for families to keep kids busy from their campsite, as well as a few planned group activities that allow us to maintain social distancing.

We ask that all of our guests use common sense and good hygiene practices while visiting. We recommend the following:

• Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly using soap and water.
• Use the provided hand sanitizer before entering public areas.
• Keep a 6-foot distance from others when interacting as to avoid respiratory transfer should someone cough.
• When coughing, cough into the pocket of your elbow.
• Avoid shaking hands.
• Teach your children to do the same.
• If you are sick, have medical vulnerabilities, or are considered at higher risk, please do not come.
• And, finally, ENJOY THE OUTDOORS!

It is strongly recommended that, when onsite, all group gatherings be limited to 10 people or fewer and, when possible, maintain a 6-foot distance between individuals.

Fortunately, Splashway Campground has over 65 acres for your family to spread out and enjoy the great outdoors, fishing, kayaking, volleyball, hiking, mini-golf, and many other activities. We have no reason to suspend your camping vacation and we encourage you to enjoy yourself by social distancing in the great outdoors while here.

During your stay with us, we would ask that you follow the CDC, federal, local, and state guidelines.

We cannot guarantee anyone’s safety from any virus or sickness during and following your visit to Splashway. This means you accept this risk for yourself and those with you.  

Splashway Waterpark is now open for the 2020 Summer Season! Or new hours of operation are 11am-6pm, 7 days a week. We have been ordered by the state government to limit our capacity to 50% but we are more than confident we can maintain this capacity Sunday – Friday with normal operations. Saturdays will be reserved for Season Pass holders and campground guests until further notice. Rest assured, we are reevaluating this decision on a weekly basis.

How To Purchase Tickets

Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online by selecting the date you’d like to visit. We have a large number of online tickets available and have also reserved plenty of tickets for at the gate purchases. If you coming during the week and would like to take advantage of our daily specials, like Military Monday or Teacher Tuesdays, you will have no problem purchasing your discounted ticket at the gate on the date of your visit.

How We’re Keeping You Safe

The safety of our guests and family members has always been our top priority. We want to assure you that we will continue to be a safe and fun environment for your family. • Signage and audio announcements will be made throughout the day to educate and encourage guests to maintain social distancing and good hygiene practices.
• Splashway Family Members will wear masks and/or be behind plexiglass shields and follow the CDC guidelines for frequent hand washing.
• We have implemented social distancing measures in queue lines, concession areas, and in other areas of the park.
• Facilities will receive routine cleaning and sanitation as required by CDC standards.
  • All counters, door handles, railings, turnstiles, keypad or self-assist kiosks, trash receptacles, tables, chairs, etc. will be sanitized and disinfected on a regular basis dependent on use.
• We’ll keep being the CLEANEST WATERPARK in Texas! Chlorination and Ph levels will be documented and follow CDC guidelines and state/local codes. Additionally, we treat our water with Ultra Violet filters for an added layer of protection. UV filters work by disrupting the DNA and RNA of specific organisms, such as viruses, which in turn kills or inactivates the virus completely. Splashway is one of the only aquatic facilities in Texas with total UV protection.

The Hideaway is open for business with limited hours. We are currently serving dinner every Friday and Saturday both for dining and carry out! Dinner is from 5:30pm – 9pm with live music from 6pm – 10pm on Friday and Saturdays. The specials will change every week and will be LIMITED IN QUANTITY. We strongly recommend you call in advance to place your order.

Here at Splashway, WE ARE FAMILY. We will continue to take care of you as we would our own family. We recognize that we are all facing challenging times and, in light of this, our rebooking and cancellation policy has become much more flexible.

Cancellation Refund/Credit
If needing to cancel your reservation, we will issue your account with the full credit up to the date of your reservation’s check-in. That credit is valid 1 year from the date it is applied to your account. When you are ready to rebook your stay, simply give us a call.  Please keep in mind that we are a family-owned and operated small business. We cherish your business with us and, by accepting credit, you allow us to continue supporting our staff in this difficult time.

We understand that times are tough and your family may need the money. If that is the case, we will assist you in refunding your campground reservation and hope you will consider rebooking when there is more certainty around our operations schedule. Please note that due to limited staff and increased call volume, the cancellation process could take 7-10 business days.

Season Pass holders will be guaranteed entry all summer long, with the exception of July 4th. We are currently working to finalize our operations plan for this day and you will receive and email regarding this holiday as soon as we know more. While our capacity is limited to 50%, we will not be accepting buddy tickets on Saturdays. You are welcome to bring buddies with you any other day of the week!

Registering Your Season Pass

We ask that you please register your Season Pass as early as possible. To accommodate all of our loyal pass holders, we have added exclusive windows in which the Guest Service Lobby will be open to you for band pick up and registration.

Until June 14th, you may come any of the following times.

Fridays 9:30am -11am and 6pm – 8pm
Saturdays and Sundays 9:30am -11am
Monday – Thursday 10am -11am

After June 15th, you will able to register your band any day from 10am-11am in the Guest Service Lobby.

Tickets for the 2020 Summer Season previously purchased can be redeemed at any time, Sunday-Friday.

Splashway Waterpark is now open for the summer, so you are more than welcome to make your cabana reservation online. We highly recommend booking your cabana in advance to guarantee your reservation. Tickets must be purchased separately. You are welcome to purchase online or at the gate on the date of your visit. Please review the Ticket section for more information.

Splashway Waterpark will be kicking off the summer season FRIDAY, May 29th!  Check out our group specials here.

Some groups have asked if they could apply their pre-payed funds to purchase individual tickets to be issued to their group and used with their families during the summer. We think that’s a fantastic idea. If your group would like to go forward with purchasing tickets to issue, we will honor your group rate and allow those tickets to be used anytime during the 2020 summer season. If you would like to take advantage of this program, please reach out to us via email or phone and we will get those tickets to you immediately.
