Splashway Campground’s Spring Break Camping Extravaganza is the family getaway your kiddos will talk about all school-year long! We’ve planned the perfect vacay, with everything from camping classics to special activities, so you can focus on the important things – spending time with your family. With so many activities and attractions, the hardest thing will be deciding what to do first!

We do all we can to make sure Spring Break is extra special. Here are CAN’T MISS events your family can expect during Spring Break at Splashway Campground!

• Family Games & Tournaments – Get your game face ready and bring home the gold! Egg toss, bingo, and gaga ball are just a few competitions to expect. Start practicing now!
• St. Patty’s Themed Bake-Off – Show off your baking skills and dazzle the judges with an old family recipe, an adventurous Pinterest creation, or something you concoct on your own!
• Petting Zoo – feed and pet local animals, you can’t resist these cuddly creatures!
• Ray’s Disco Express – Grab your glow sticks and dancing shoes as we boogie down with Ray on his colorful ride through the campground.
• Arts & Crafts – We’re offering a different project every day in the Activity Center, perfect for all ages!
• S’more Nights – Join us by our big bonfire for some ooey gooey s’mores, the perfect camping treat!
• Movies Under the Stars – Bring your blankets and join us for nightly outdoor screenings of family-friendly movies, from classic favorites to new hits.
• Campsite Decorating Contests – For weekend campers, channel the luck of the Irish into your campsite decor and you just might win a pot o’ gold!
• Sunday Scripture & Raycation Bible School – Join us Sunday mornings as we congregate for a bible reading and spiritual message, with something for all ages.

All-Day Attractions

There’s no such thing as a typical camping trip when you come to Splashway Campground. In addition to our special Spring Break activities, there’s plenty to do all day, everyday.

• Laser Tag – Play a round (or two…or three…or infinity!) of heart-pumping laser tag, perfect for kids and parents to bond over a thrilling game.
• Putt Putt – Play competitively or just for leisure on our putt putt green.
• Water Sports – Explore our beautiful landscaped pond by renting a kayak or paddle board from the Adventure Station.
• Fishing – Or, enjoy our pond from the water’s edge and cast a line in our fully-stocked catch-and-release fishing pond!
• Pedal Carts – Race around the campground with rented pedal carts from our Adventure Station.
• Paintable Crafts – Channel your inner artist with a craft from the Camp Store!
• Good Eats & Cold Drinks – You won’t go hungry with The Hideaway! Our restaurant is the perfect place to grab a southern cooked meal and unwind with a cold drink.
• Live Music – The Hideaway hosts live music from local artists every weekend on our gorgeous patio!
• Breakfast & Sweet Treats – Visit The Hideaway Express in the Camp Store to grab scratch-made breakfast or sweet treats every day!

Making Memories 

While we have the entire week packed with activities to keep you and the kiddos entertained, there’s tons of time to have special moments between just you and your family to really tailor your Spring Break experience. The beautiful Texas blue sky is the limit, but here’s some ideas to get your imagination going.

• Teach the kiddos how to build a campfire and celebrate with a toasted marshmallow, supplies available at the Camp Store.
• Unlock your inner astronomer and explore the night sky away from big city lights with a stargazing map, available at the Camp Store.
• Plan a scavenger hunt on the campgrounds or through our hiking trails, we have some ideas here!
• Bring your family’s favorite board games to play at a picnic table.
• Tell spooky stories by the campfire – a camping classic! We’ve got some ready for ya!
