Is the cook-off open to the public?

No, Splashway’s MLK Cook-Off is exclusive to campground guests only. 

Will there be a designated cooking area for the cook-off?

Yes, your campsite will be your cook site.

What activities are open to the public?

Families can join us Saturday, January 15th, for the 5k run, laser tag, putt putt, and a washer tournament! The Hideaway will also be open for lunch and dinner with live music Saturday night!

How much is the 5k?

Register early to save more! Registration is $30 before December 31st, $35 from January 1st to 14th, and $40 the day of.

What does the 5k registration include?

In addition to the race participation, runners will receive a t-shirt to wear for the color run and goodie bag containing water, snacks, and other Splashway goodies!

Where can I park for the 5k?

Guests are welcome to park in The Hideaway’s parking lot.

What time should I arrive to participate in the 5k?

The race will begin at 8:30am on Saturday, January 15th. Packet pick up begins at 7:30am in the Camp Store. If you are registering the day of, we recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes early.

Is there a color-free version of the 5k?

Sure! You can avoid the color stations by following the signs along the route.

Will The Hideaway be open for lunch or dinner?

The Hideaway will be open Friday-Sunday for lunch from 11am-2pm and dinner from 5pm-9pm. There will also be live music both Friday and Saturday night!
