4 Upcoming Family-Friendly Events to Add to Your Calendar

Splashway Waterpark’s 2019 is almost over, but that doesn’t mean the fun is! Splashway Campground is open year-round, and we’ve planned 4 festivals so far for the whole family. All of these events are FREE with a campground reservation. So, all you have to do is book one of our cabins, cottages, tent sites, or RV sites, ditch the city for the weekend, and we’ll take care of the rest!

Fall Festival Weekends

It might not seem possible, but you CAN have the picturesque fall weekend in Southern Texas during our Fall Festival Weekends! There are 4 weekends to celebrate the cozy season with all your autumn favorites from September 20 – October 13. We’ve jam-packed these weekends with events the whole family will love. Enjoy Ray’s Magical Pumpkin Patch and pick one of your own to decorate, fall arts & crafts all weekend long, trick-or-treating and costume contests, cook-offs, outdoor movie nights—we could go on and on! Halloweekends 

Join us for two weekends, October 18-20 or October 25-27, for family-friendly tricks and treats that’ll make you SCREAM with laughter! Halloweekends give you outdoor daily fun with a touch of spooky that’s perfect for kids of all ages (including those of you who are kids at heart!). Paint and carve a pumpkin from Ray’s Magical Pumpkin Patch, play to win at classic carnival games, strut your stuff in the costume contest after trick-or-treating, and enter our Haunted House if you dare! (Don’t worry, we have a milder Spooky House for the faint of heart). All this plus live and local music, arts & crafts, a competitive cook-off, and more!

NYE Celebration

Ring in the New Year in the great outdoors for a cozy camping trip away from the hustle and bustle of the city. All of our campground activities will be open, like kayaking, fishing, laser tag, pedal karts, and putt-putt for a nostalgic, family-oriented experience. Just remember to bring extra layers and blankets for our outdoor fireworks extravaganza and our NYE countdown into 2020!

Spring Break 2020

We’re already seeing in 2020 vision! Mark your calendars for Splashway’s Spring Break week, happening in March 2020! To celebrate the warm weather, we’ll host family game tournaments with favorites like kickball, egg toss, and gaga ball, water gun fights, fishing contests, Bingo, and our classic camping events like movies under the stars, live and local music, arts and crafts, site decorating contests, and much more!
